Enter a new season of life, free from chronic health conditions, with an experienced nutritional therapist as your guide.
“In four months I’ve gone from being mostly housebound with chronic fatigue syndrome and a range of other debilitating symptoms, which I’d had for over 4 years, to feeling like a new woman with enough energy and stamina to get back to doing what I love again. Cara has the most wonderful ability to make people feel heard and supported on their unique journeys and I feel lucky to have found her.” - E
Nutrition Packages
Nutrition packages help you get to the root cause of your health concerns (through blood testing and lifestyle assessment) before designing a personalised dietary intervention to address nutrient imbalances and build nutrient-dense foundations for your recovery.
Nutrition packages are specifically tailored to your health needs. By giving your body a wider range of nutrients and targeted support, you’ll not only enjoy improvements for your chronic health condition(s), but also increased energy levels, clearer skin, stronger nails, shinier hair, and a more empowered relationship with yourself and your body.
Please book a discovery call to discuss pricing, package and payment plan options.

1:1 Chronic Health Consultations
For those who aren’t ready to commit to a package of nutritional support or who want to continue their nutritional therapy journey after their package, 1:1 Chronic Health Consultations are the opportunity for pay-as-you-go nutritional support to tackle your specific health conditions.
Over the course of a minimum of 3 to 4 1:1 consultations, we can work together to review your dietary and lifestyle circumstances before making specific changes to support your body to recover from the health conditions you’re struggling with.
Initial consultations are 90-minutes long. Follow-up consultations are 60-minutes long.
“Cara helped me feel much better. My stomach pains lessened, I slept better and had more energy. I was able to try new foods and find out what I liked. My diet became healthier and more varied.” - CG, Edinburgh
The Nutritional Therapy journey
-
After requesting an appointment via my Contact page, you will be emailed an in-depth health questionnaire to complete and email back to me. I will also ask you to complete a 3-day diet diary to submit the day before your consultation.
-
Your initial appointment will be 90-minutes long. I will take a full case history and review all dietary and lifestyle factors related to your case and your health condition. This will form the basis of your custom nutrition plan. After this appointment, I will send you a finger prick blood test to perform, to give us more insight into your specific needs.
-
In the second half of our initial appointment, we will agree on an achievable nutrition plan for you to begin implementing in the coming weeks. The nutrition plan will be customised to your health needs and your lifestyle and will be as non-restrictive as possible. You will also be given recommendations for supplements and lifestyle changes to support your journey to health.
-
In your follow-up consultations, which are 60-minutes long, we will discuss how your nutrition plan is working for you, any concerns you have and any adjustments we need to make to maximise the impact of your dietary changes. If you are on the Chronic Health Condition Package, you can book your 3 follow-up appointments at any point during our 3-month journey. Ad hoc follow-up consultations can be booked at any time.
Nutritional Therapy for Chronic Health Conditions
-
Most health conditions require 3-months of consistent nutritional changes to see improvement, which is why the Chronic Health Condition Package runs over a 3-month period.
However, your body is unique. Its needs are unique and its struggles are unique. Everyone’s health takes its own journey and travels at its own pace, depending on your biochemistry, your health conditions, and your lifestyle. While I can never provide guaranteed timelines on the time needed to see positive changes in your life, I will provide a guideline for your journey on a discovery call before working together.
Regardless of the condition being supported through nutritional therapy, improving your diet and increasing your nutritional intake will quickly improve your energy levels, your skin, your sleep and your overall feeling of health.
-
Everyone has foods they like and foods they don’t like. When putting together your dietary plan to tackle your chronic health conditions, I’ll take into account your dietary preferences as much as possible.
My work is based on the most clinically effective intervention for your body’s needs, which is why I don’t provide support for clients following vegan diets. In my experience, vegan diets are not clinically effective for managing chronic health conditions through nutritional therapy and it is therefore a clinical policy of mine that I don’t work with people on a plant-based or vegan diet.
-
If you are experiencing any of these health conditions, I am not the right nutritional therapist for you:
Cancer
Kidney disease
Eating disorders
I also only work with men on fertility journeys with their partners.
If you fall into any of these categories, I will happily recommend alternative nutritional therapists who are better able to support your unique needs.
-
I do. Much of my nutritional background has centred around nutritional therapy for children and families.
My nutritional therapy support for children covers:
Allergies and intolerances
Digestive issues, including bloating, constipation and diarrhoea
Fussy eating
Immune system concerns
Blood sugar balance
Epilepsy
Mental health issues, including support for children with ASD
Please get in touch to discuss the best course of action for your child and pricing.

Most of my nutritional therapy work is conducted online, via Zoom. However, if you are local to Oban on the west coast of Scotland, I do offer in-person consultations at my clinic. Please let me know if you would prefer an in-person appointment when booking.
